Derby Gaol

www.derbygaol.com

I have been studying death masks and penny dreadfuls today as they are both included in Cinders and Ashes.

I would just like to say sincere thanks to Edd Felix for allowing me to feature Derby Gaol.  His patience and help have been outstanding.

Also, many thanks to Pete and the team, for their brilliant ghost walks.  You got me in the end!

For those of you who don't know.  I had been on a ghost walk at Derby Gaol before and knew what to expect, so agreed to go with friends.  They all got 'caught out' by the team's shenanigans, but as a 'cynic' I refused to get drawn in and as a result got to the end of the evening without too much grey hair.  That is, until Pete got me as I was leaving.......   Thanks Pete!

One thing I must say is that Derby Gaol is not for the faint hearted, but definitely the place to go to sample historical England.

Thanks Derby Gaol !  See you soon x
